Initial 15-minute phone consultation: Free
Sixty-minute, individual, private-pay sessions: $130.
Ninety-minute couples and marriage counseling sessions are: $200
Insurance
In addition to private-pay, I accept Blue Cross, and United Healthcare insurance for individual and supplemental family sessions. Insurance companies do not consider couples or marriage counseling to be a "medical necessity" and do not reimburse for it. I am not in network for Medicaid or Medicare.
Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services.
I’d recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:
- Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
- Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
- Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
- Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?
Payment
I accept cash, check, Venmo, Paypal, Visa and MasterCard payments.
Cancellation Policy
If you cannot attend a scheduled session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Cancellations with less than 8 hours' notice will be charged the full private-pay rate, as insurance does not reimburse for missed sessions.
